London, 14 December 2021: HumanForest, a truly green micro-mobility platform, has announced a new partnership with Citymapper, bolstering the accessibility of its e-bikes across London. The partnership will enable users to locate the nearest available HumanForest e-bikes in the Citymapper app. Users will also be able to plan journeys, view suggested routes and travel times, then navigate to their destination using real-time turn-by-turn directions.
Earlier this year, TfL announced the construction of four major new cycling infrastructure projects across London, having delivered 260km of cycle routes since May 2016. With public support for the environment having jumped sixteen percentage points and cycling rates around London expected to reach more than 40 per cent of Londoners, it is hoped the partnership between HumanForest and Citymapper will offer more people than ever clean, green micro-mobility solutions, and encourage increasing use of the capital’s cycling infrastructure.
HumanForest currently has a fleet of 800 e-bikes across London, with users able to ride through the boroughs of Islington, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham, as well as the City of London. Users get 10 free minutes per day on HumanForest’s e-bikes, with rides costing £0.15 per minute thereafter.
The partnership is now live and users can download the Citymapper app to view HumanForest e-bike locations and plan routes.
Michael Stewart, Co-founder at HumanForest said: “We are delighted to partner with Citymapper, helping Londoners map out the cleanest and greenest routes around London. This partnership will make our truly green e-bikes even more accessible and help to encourage affordable and sustainable transport in London. With users able to find our e-bikes through Citymapper, the process of planning journeys and navigating across London will be easy and streamlined. This partnership will allow Londoners to get around the City in a quick and environmentally-friendly way.”
Ravi Jolly, Partnerships Manager at Citymapper said: “Micro-mobility is key to making cities more sustainable and we’re excited to partner with HumanForest, who offer a convenient and eco-friendly way for Londoners to travel around the city. Our partnership makes it easy for Londoners to find the nearest HumanForest e-bikes, plan journeys, and be guided to their destination in real time with turn-by-turn directions and voice instructions.”
